B2ST: Our name could have been ‘Gold, Silver, Bronze Eagle‘

July 1, 2014 - 18:11 By Korea Herald
Idol group B2ST talked about their team name during an appearance on an SBS radio program Saturday.

While introducing B2ST’s profile at the start of the program, the show host said, “The group name not only means ‘animal’ but also ‘Boys of EAst Standing Tall.”

The members of B2ST revealed that there were other candidates for their team name before their debut.

According to the group, other possible names were “Gold, Silver, Bronze Eagle,” “300” after the popular 2007 warrior flick, “Sixcon,” short for six icons and “Genghis Khan.”

“We could have been eagles instead of beasts,” the group said.

B2ST recently released their sixth mini album “Good Luck” and is to hold its solo concert, “Beautiful Show,” in August.
