힙합그룹 에픽하이 타블로 눈,코,입이 YG블로그를 통해 공개됐다.

25일 YG블로그에는 타블로 눈,코,입 커버영상이 공개됐다. 공개된 타블로 눈,코,입은 원곡의 멜로디에 DJ투컷의 리믹스와 타블로 특유의 차분하면서도 힘있는 영어 랩이 더해지며 원곡과는 또 다른 매력을 선사했다.

특히 곡의 후반부에는 태양이 함께 화음을 맞춰 눈길을 끌었다. 앞서 YG엔터테인먼트는 지난 16일 악동 뮤지션의 '눈, 코, 입' 커버 영상을 공개해 화제를 모은 바 있다.

한편, 태양이 직접 작사에 참여한 '눈,코,입'은 공개 직후 국내 음원 사이트 실시간, 일간, 주간 차트를 석권한 것은 물론 최근 미국 빌보드 메인 차트인 '빌보드200'에서 한국 남자가수 사상 최고 순위 112위를 기록했다.

Tablo to release remake of Taeyang’s ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’


Tablo from hip-hop group Epik High is to release a cover of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” on Wednesday, YG Entertainment said, Tuesday.

On the management agency’s official blog, a picture of Tablo sitting on a chair alone with the slogan “Lyrics by Tablo, remix by DJ Tukutz, original song performed by Taeyang” highlighted the collaboration among the entertainment giant’s artists.

Earlier on June 16, AKMU kicked off YG Entertainment’s cover song project with the same song. With Lee Chan-hyuk’s rap and Lee Soo-hyun’s unique vocals, the song was transformed into another genre.

Watchers are anticipating more inter-agency cover songs and added support to the already viral “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”

Tablo’s version of the currently number one song on the local charts is to be unveiled at 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
