World-class airline Singapore Airlines has once again proved it is ahead of the curve with its commitment to customer service and in-flight innovations.

Last year, the carrier introduced new seats in all classes of travel and the world’s most advanced in-flight entertainment system. Customers can now expect advanced hardware, an innovative yet intuitive user interface, and a wide selection of thoughtfully selected content to suit their preferences.

For high-quality in-flight meals, the carrier works with a team of outstanding and world-renowned chefs who advise twice a year on the latest food trends and share and test recipes with its chefs to create in-flight dishes.

Singapore Airline is currently the only airline in the world to test food in a model aircraft cabin which simulates the atmospheric pressure of an aircraft cabin at cruising altitude. Singapore Airlines also has reinforced its commitment to fleet upgrading and expansion by placing a series of orders for a range of new generation aircraft in recent years.

It has more than 100 modern aircraft in its fleet, and it rewrote aviation history in October 2007 by becoming the world’s first airline to fly the largest commercial plane in the world, the Airbus A380.

Meanwhile, for seamless access to more destinations, Singapore Airlines has worked toward expanding codeshare agreements with interline partners, and it recently expanded its codeshare agreement with Asiana Airlines so that customers can now enjoy seamless travel to more destinations in the United States.

Singapore Airlines also codeshares on Asiana-operated flights beyond Seoul’s Incheon International Airport to Honolulu, Seattle and Los Angeles.
