Who is lying about Nichkhun’s future?

June 18, 2014 - 15:19 By KH디지털2
A Chinese news agency reported that 2PM member Nichkhun hopes to work in China. But 2PM’s management agency in Korea immediately denied the report, saying “it was exaggerated.”

According to a report from China News, Nichkhun expressed his hope to grow as an actor in China during a meeting with reporters on Monday ahead of the launch of the Chinese drama “One and a Half Summer,” starring the K-pop idol.

The media also reported the drama director hopes that his work will gain as much popularity in China as “My Love from the Star.”

Nichkhun was further quoted as saying, “I did debut in Korea, but I also want to work in China. I want people to think of me as a Chinese actor instead of a Korean celebrity. Also, I am partly of Chinese ancestry.”

But JYP Entertainment said that the “Chinese media exaggerated his words about working in China. Also, they lied about his saying ‘think of me as a Chinese actor.’”

Meanwhile, the first episode of “One and a Half Summer” is scheduled to be aired on June 23.
