“He has not recovered completely, but has almost recovered. He will continue to film according to schedule,” the source added.

The announcement came after Lee was accidentally poked in his left eye by a fake sword while filming on Monday.

The actor was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with corneal damage and intraocular hemorrhage.

“His quick recovery was due to immediate handling and following the doctor’s advice,” said another SBS official.

He showed a strong will to return to filming, but as the doctor advised him to rest, he was not able to make a comeback.

A special episode of the show was broadcast on Wednesday and episode 10 was broadcast on Thursday. The scene in which Lee was poked was the ending scene of episode 10. After the broadcast, viewers wished Lee a quick recovery and eagerly anticipated the next episode.
