Song, 29, had been dating his girlfriend since meeting her about a year ago, when he was preparing his comedy skit “Ahnsaenggyeoyo (Can’t Get a Date)” for KBS 2TV comedy show “Gag Concert.” In the skit, ironically, he acted out a man who constantly failed to get a girlfriend.

The comedian refrained from disclosing a detailed profile of his girlfriend for privacy reasons, except that the bride is an ordinary salary woman in her late 20s.

The couple is expecting a baby by the end of the year, as the bride has been pregnant for four months, the comedian told reporters. He admitted that he had denied the rumors of a hasty marriage for fear of hurting the bride’s feelings.
