May 16, 2014 - 21:08 By Seo Jee-yeon
Kia Motors, an affiliate of Hyundai Motor Group, said it will showcase 27 vehicles, including seven different variants of its new Carnival minivan at the Busan International Motor Show, which will kick off on May 29.

The country’s second-largest automobile manufacturer said an “outdoors” car, a limousine and a light “mover” will be shown to the Korean public for the first time at the show.

The minivan, a multipurpose vehicle, made its debut at last month’s New York International Auto Show and is expected to compete directly with the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Nissan Quest, and Chrysler Town and County in the international market.

Besides the Carnival, Kia will show off its GT4 Stinger two-by-two high performance concept sports car and Niro urban crossover hybrid concept car.

In addition, Kia said it will show off its latest “UVO,” short for “Your Voice,” infotainment system and other safety and driving convenience features at the motor show. For the showcase, the company has set aside 2,508 square meters of space at the motor show for the exhibition. (Yonhap)
