Italian cruise operator Costa Cruise has launched a round-trip cruise for tourists in South Korea.

According to Lotte Tour in Seoul on Friday, the tour package will take tourists to Japanese sights. It is available twice this month.

The Italian cruise ship, the Costa Victoria, can accommodate 2,349 passengers and 790 crew members. The vessel is as high as a 14-story building, and is 253 meters long and 32.5 meters wide and weighs 75,166 tons.

The ship is equipped with a casino, restaurants, bars, duty-free shops, nightclubs, Internet cafes, a library, a hair salon, a health club, a theater, three swimming pools, jogging tracks, fitness centers and beauty spas.

“The cruise is set to deliver the signature European cruise experience, slightly modified to Korean preferences. Every night, various events and parties will be held onboard the ship,” said a Lotte Tour official.

The cruise ship will depart from Incheon Port on May 21 and 27 for a six-night, seven-day tour of Japan.

The tour starting on May 21 will stop at the Japanese ports of Sakaiminato (for sightseeing in Tottori prefecture and Shimane prefecture), Kanagawa (Ishikawa prefecture and Tomaya prefecture) and Maizuru (Kyoto, Kobe and Osaka), and return to Incheon on May 27.

The May 21 tour is priced at 1.59 million won ($1,540) per person for an inside room, 1.79 million won for an ocean-view room and 2.09 million won for a balcony room.

The tour departing on May 27 will stop at Okinawa, Amami, Kagoshima and Nagasaki and return to Incheon on June 2.

The May 27 tour is priced at 1.69 million won per person for an inside room, 1.89 million won for an ocean-view room and 2.19 million won for a balcony room.
