Children’s Day event at Grand Hilton Seoul

Grand Hilton Seoul’s buffet restaurant and Atrium Café are holding a special two-day event in celebration of Children’s Day on May 4-5. The restaurants will be decorated under the theme of magic and offer a special menu for kids featuring traditional pasta, pizza, burgers and ice cream. Interactive events such as a magic show -- including levitation, card magic and other tricks -- by local magician Joo Woo-hyuk and face painting will take place. The hotel will also present many surprises for children including children’s books, tumblers, school supplies and spangle headbands. Each day, the restaurants will offer two seating sessions: from 12:00-1:30 p.m. and from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 76,000 won for adults and 38,000 won for children, including tax and service charge. Junior Party with Cartoon Network at Conrad Seoul

Conrad Seoul is holding a special event under the name “Junior Party with Cartoon Network” in celebration of Children’s Day from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 4-5. The Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a children’s theme park to host fun activities with various characters from Cartoon Network. A buffet will be provided as part of the event as well. Tickets are priced at 99,000 won for adults, 59,000 won for primary schoolchildren and 40,000 won for preschoolers. A 10 percent early-bird discount is offered to those who purchase tickets by April. Jazz concert at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul

Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul is holding a jazz concert titled “Jazz in the City Vol. 5” at the Oasis outdoor swimming pool on May 8. Guests will be able to enjoy the concert while dining at the buffet set up by the pool. The May jazz concert will feature Hur Jin-ho, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music who has performed at various jazz festivals including the Osaka International Jazz Festival in Japan and Jarasum International Jazz Festival in Korea. Hur has also appeared on several television shows including KBS’ “Classic Odyssey” and MBC’s “Art Stage” on Wednesday. Popular local jazz musician Woongsan will stage a performance during the concert as well. The concert is expected to be a night of music and fine dining. ‘Happy Ritz Kids Day’ at The Ritz-Carlton Seoul

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul is holding a special event titled “Happy Ritz Kids Day” in celebration of Children’s Day on May 5. The event will take place at the Grand Ballroom from 6-9 p.m. and provide an evening of fun, shows and events to all guests. Before the buffet dinner begins at 6 p.m., the children will be able to take photographs with their favorite characters in the Photo Zone or have their faces painted in front of the Grand Ballroom. The buffet dinner will feature diverse dishes including pasta cooked to order, pancakes, pizza, grilled ribeye steak, LA galbi, chili prawns and king crabs, as well as children’s favorite dishes such as tteokbokki, handmade burgers, lemon pie and citron pudding ice cream. Dinner will be followed by a laser show, a percussion performance, a jamstick recital, a bubble show and other participatory events. BBQ & Room package at Mercure Seoul Ambassador Gangnam Sodowe

Mercure Seoul Ambassador Gangnam Sodowe is offering a special BBQ & Room package for the spring. The package includes a one-night stay in a standard room and BBQ buffet for two at the rooftop lounge KLOUD.
