JTI Korea launches new superslim cigarettes

April 17, 2014 - 20:53 By Korea Herald
Japan Tobacco International Korea, the local unit of the Japanese tobacco manufacturer, announced Thursday that it has launched MEVIUS LSS EVO3, its newest superslim cigarettes.

With this latest addition to the MEVIUS lineup, the company hopes to lead the market for superslim cigarettes.

The new product utilizes Less Smoke Smell technology, JTI’s innovation in reducing the smell of smoke, while providing smokers with both a rich and smooth flavor, the company said.

Although the company has introduced the LSS technology before, it is the first time it is being offered in superslim cigarettes.

The MEVIUS LSS EVO3, priced at 2,500 won ($2.40) a pack, contains 3 milligrams of tar and will be sold for a limited time at local 7-Eleven convenience stores.
