[Graphic News] Korea’s fertility rate continues to fall

March 2, 2014 - 20:11 By Korea Herald
Korea’s fertility rate, indicating the average number of children Korean women are expected to give birth to over the course of their lives, is expected to drop by 0.11 to 1.19 this year, according to Statistics Korea.

This is because fewer women are deciding to have children due to a variety of social, economic and cultural factors, it said.
