British airline Virgin Atlantic introduced a trial program to outfit its employees with wearable tech items, business magazine Fast Company reported.

For a six-week pilot test, employees at London’s Heathrow Airport will be wearing Google Glass and Sony’s SmartWatch. This will make it easy for employees to inform passengers about flight changes or delays. Quick language translation is also practicable for globe-trotting customers.
The airline is hoping to improve passengers’ travel experience, but Virgin Atlantic’s clients might find it weird to fly with a Glass-wearing flight crew, Fast Company reported.
