'123456' is worst password of 2013

Jan. 21, 2014 - 16:02 By KH디지털2

“123456” has become the commonest and worst password on the Internet, unseating “password,” which topped the previous list, Cnet reported.

Security-focused developer SplashData compiled the list from data dumps of stolen passwords posted online, and the millions of Adobe accounts that were compromised in the fall.

Passwords like “adobe123” and “photoshop” also make SplashData’s top 25 list due to the breadth of the Adobe hack.

To better protect your data without memorizing myriad strings of nonsense numbers, letters and symbols, SplashData recommended passwords that contain random words separated by spaces or characters such as “trolls_jobs_need” or “Crave_love_I_do,” Cnet said.
