Lee Jong-suk to star in upcoming film “Blood Boiling Youth”
The much-anticipated film “Blood Boiling Youth,” starring actors Lee Jong-suk and Park Bo-young as high school students and set in the countryside in 1982, will be released on Jan. 23.
During a promotional event for the movie held in Seoul on Monday, Park introduced her character as a friend who remains loyal to the boy she has liked since childhood.
Lee Jong-suk, who gained popularity from the television drama series “I Hear Your Voice,” is to take on the lead role of a clumsy Casanova while Park Bo-young forewarned us that her use of Chungcheong province dialect will involve much name-calling.
The film will portray a youthful romance that evolves around the idol stars, including model-turned-actor Kim Young-kwang.
