에일리, 신곡 '노래가 늘었어'로 휘성과 1년 만에 재회

'헤븐(Heaven)'을 탄생시킨 가수 에일리와 휘성이 1년 만에 다시 한 번 뭉쳤다.

에일리는 오는 1월 6일 프로듀서 휘성과 작곡가 문하 작곡, 휘성 작사의 신곡 '노래가 늘었어'를 발표하고 본격적인 활동에 돌입한다.

'노래가 늘었어'는 웅장한 편곡과 에일리의 섬세한 감정표현이 돋보이는 락발라드 곡으로, 에일리 특유의 호소력 짙은 감성보이스를 선보일 예정이다.

에일리와 휘성은 '헤븐'으로 아이돌그룹의 음악이 주를 이루던 음원차트에서 신인 여자 솔로가수임에도 3개월간 음원차트 상위권에 랭크되는 기염을 토하며 지난해 각종 시상식을 휩쓰는 등 두 사람의 시너지를 보여준 바 있다.

'노래가 늘었어'로 1년 만에 다시 의기투합한 가수 에일리와 프로듀서 휘성의 조합이 이번에는 어떤 시너지 효과를 발휘할 지 귀추가 주목된다.

한편 에일리는 디지털싱글 '노래가 늘었어' 발표에 앞서 오는 1월 4일 각종 음악사이트와 유투브를 통해 티저 영상을 공개한다.

Singer Ailee to partner up with Wheesung

Singer Ailee plans to release the new digital single “Singing Got Better,” produced in partnership with R&B solo vocalist Wheesung, on Jan. 6.

The 24-year-old singer, known for her strong vocal skills, is collaborating with Wheesung for the second time since the release of her successful debut single “Heaven” in February 2012.

Ailee is to highlight her deep voice and rock ballad sound in the new song. The teaser video for the song will be unveiled on YouTube and on major music online music services on Jan. 4.

Ailee, who quickly rose into the spotlight, has won many awards including the Mnet Asian Music Award’s “Best New Female” title and the “Rookie Award” at the annual Seoul Music Awards last year.
