North Korean students from the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST) are studying in Britain and Sweden, Radio Free Asia said Saturday.
The report, citing administrative officials at the university, said three graduate students are at Britain's University of Westminster where they are studying electronics and computer science.
It added that two students each are studying at Cambridge University and Uppsala University in Sweden, where they are taking courses in international finance, management and agriculture.
The North had sent three students to Westminster last year, who have all since returned to Pyongyang after completing their courses.
All PUST students enrolled in the schools have received scholarships from the British government or the European Union and they are highly regarded by their peers and teachers. (Yonhap News)
