U.S-based tech giant Apple is working on a new 12-inch MacBook and 6th generation iPad for releases in 2014, U.S. media reported.
Ming-chi Kuo, known for his successful predictions in Apple’s product plans, projected a new ultra-slim clamshell shaped 12-inch MacBook. The new model will combine the merits of MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. Some speculate Apple might opt for its own A-series chips for the new laptop, but Kuo said the company would likely continue to use Intel chips.
The analyst also predicted that the new sixth-generation iPad would come with a display that’s better than the current Retina.
Kuo previously made accurate predictions on the product lineup for the fall of 2012 and the launch schedule for 2013.
