Samsung Electronics held a workshop together with their partner companies to discuss current issues and cooperation plans from Oct. 11 to 12 in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

Some 300 persons attended the event including Samsung Electronics’ vice-chairman Kwon Oh-hyun, co-chief executive officers, Yoon Boo-keun and Shin Jong-kyun, and around 200 partner companies’ CEOs.

Under the slogan of “Growing Together,” they discussed plans on improving the global competitiveness of partner companies and supporting their sustainable growth, Samsung said.

At the dialogue with Samsung Electronics’ top management, partner companies asked about industry trends and the company’s policies, and shared their ideas and difficulties.

“To lead the market in a changing business environment, thorough preparation and pursuit of innovation with partner companies is important,” Kwon Oh-hyun said. “We will support our partners to acquire global competency."

Kim Young-jae, CEO of Daeduck Electronics, who also represents the partner companies at the workshop, said, “We will do diverse activities to improve our competitiveness and to grow together with Samsung Electronics.”
