40대 남성 김모씨가 훈계하려던 중학생을 흉기를 들고 쫓아간 혐의로 27일 불구속 입건 되었다.
광진경찰서에 의하면 김씨는 26일 오후 9시경에 서울 광진구 중곡동 소재 자신의 집 근처에서 담배를 피며 시끄럽게 하는 학생들을 훈계하다가 학생들이 대들자 흉기를 들고 나와 위협한 것으로 알려졌다.
당시 술에 취해 있던 김씨는 14살 정모군을 흉기를 들고 100m 가량 쫓아갔다.
김씨는 “퇴근해 집 앞에 왔는데 학생들이 며칠째 그 자리에서 담배를 피며 시끄럽게 하고 있어 훈계했는데 학생들이 대들어서 홧김에 흉기를 들고 나왔다”고 진술했다.
김씨가 흉기를 들고 나오자 도망치던 14살 정모군은 골목으로 도망가던 도중 자신이 가지고 있던 휴대전화로 경찰에 신고했다. (임우정 인턴기자 / 코리아헤럴드)

Man charged for threatening teenager with lethal weapon
A 45-year-old South Korean man was charged without detention for allegedly chasing and threatening a student with a deadly weapon, the police said on Friday.
According to Gwangjin District police, the suspect was trying to scold a group of students who were smoking and making loud noises on the street near his house in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 9 p.m. Thursday.
“I tried to warn them but I lost my temper and brought the knife as the students snapped at me,” the suspect said during an investigation.
The man chased a 14-year-old student who was at the site, carrying the lethal weapon while under the influence of alcohol, police said.
The boy called the police while running and avoided injury.
