Psy’s seventh full album, which will mark his international debut, is expected to be released in September, his Korean agency YG Entertainment said on Sunday. No further information about the album was revealed, but it was reported that the singer was also planning another large-scale concert in Korea in December.

“Psy is currently staying in L.A. and working on his new upcoming album. There is no special event planned to commemorate July 15,” a YG official stated.

Monday, July 15, marked the first anniversary of the release of his global mega-hit “Gangnam Style,” the most watched video on YouTube which has accumulated over 1.74 billion views so far. The song put his name in the Guinness Book of Records four times during past year. “Gangnam Stye” brought Psy many distinctions, including those of the most viewed online video, the most liked video online, and the first video to receive 1 billion views. His follow-up single “Gentleman” was the most viewed video online in 24 hours.
