힙합듀오 다이나믹듀오(개코, 최자)의 7집 ‘러키넘버 (LUCKYNUMBERS)’가 공개되자마자 각종 음원차트 1위를 석권했다. 

1일 정오 공개된 다이나믹듀오의 7집 타이틀곡 ‘뱀’(BAAAM)은 공개 한 시간 만에 멜론, 엠넷닷컴, 올레뮤직, 네이버뮤직, 다음뮤직, 벅스뮤직, 소리바다 등 주요 음원차트 정상을 휩쓸었다. 타이틀곡 외 7집 수록곡들도 이들 음원차트에서 순위권에 이름을 올리며 다이나믹듀오의 저력을 보여줬다. 

특히 멜론에서는 20여일 간 차트 1위를 지켰던 씨스타의 ‘기브 잇 투 미’(Give It To Me)를 가뿐히 제쳐 눈길을 끌었다. 

한편 타이틀곡 ‘뱀’은 ‘뱀’ 같은 여자에게 휘둘리면서도 그녀의 손아귀에서 벗어나지 못하는 남자의 심리를 담은 곡이다. 특히 ‘사실 네가 던진 떡밥에 완전 낚이는 중’, ‘어깨 근처에 향수만 묻혀놓고 가냐’, ‘왜 항상 커피 아님 술만 얻어먹고 가냐’ 등 위트 넘치는 가사가 눈길을 끈다. (헤럴드생생뉴스)

Hip-hop duo gets lucky with ‘Luckynumbers’

South Korea’s hip-hop duo, Dynamic Duo, released their seventh album “Luckynumbers,” on Monday, quickly topping online charts. 

“Luckynumbers” contains 13 hip-hop tracks whose styles range from Detroit to trap sounds.

In the lead track “Baaam,” Gaeko and Choi Ja belt out about a man’s unstable mental state when he falls for an attractive woman. The song incorporates UV member Muzie’s play of a vocoder in sync with a strong jaunty beat. 

The new album mastered by Stuart Hawkes, who has previously worked with Amy Winehouse and Nakashima Mika, features the voices of Zion T, Supreme Team and Sistar’s Hyorin, among others.
