만취 승객을 상대로 택시에서 인신매매가 일어난다는 루머를 카카오톡 메시지로 전달 받은 한 남성이 달리는 택시에서 뛰어내리는 일이 발생했다. 

5일 자정 즈음 경남 창원시 진해구 태백동의 한 고가도로를 달리던 택시 뒷좌석에서 박모(45)씨가 갑자기 뛰어내렸다.

택시 기사는 “운행 중에 갑자기 문이 ‘탁’ 닫히는 소리가 나서 뒤돌아보니 승객이 밖으로 빠져나가 도로 갓길을 걸어가고 있었다”고 밝혔다.

당시 택시는 시속 70~80㎞로 운행 중이었으며 뛰어내린 박씨를 발견한 기사는 곧바로 119에 신고했다.

박씨는 “아내로부터 ‘심야에 택시에서 만취 승객을 대상으로 인신매매가 이뤄진다’는 내용의 카카오톡 메시지를 받고난 직후 뛰어내렸다”고 경찰에 진술했다.

박씨는 인근 병원으로 곧바로 이송 됐으며, 팔 부분에 골절상등을 입어 치료를 받고 있다. (코리아헤럴드)

Drunk man jumps from moving taxi

An intoxicated Korean man jumped out of a moving taxi early Wednesday morning after receiving a message about human trafficking crimes committed by taxi drivers.

At midnight in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, the 45-year-old man received a Kakao Talk message from his wife about alleged human trafficking by taxis, and jumped out of the taxi that was moving at 80 kilometers per hour.

“I heard the door shutting, so I looked back and he was already outside the car, running on the sidewalk,” said the taxi driver who reported the incident.
The man, who suffered an arm fracture, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
