GIC raising funds with silent auction

May 21, 2013 - 20:13 By Korea Herald
Gwangju International Center is running a silent auction as part of its fundraising drive to pay for its relocation.

Items on offer include photo and portrait packages by local expat photographers, language tutoring, and drum and piano lessons. Professional Ping Pong lessons are also up for grabs.

Bids can be made at the center itself or by emailing the GIC with your name, contact number, the item bid for and amount offered.

Minimum amounts apply to the bids. Only the highest bidder will receive the item, and bidding closes on May 31.

The building used by the GIC is being demolished by the city government to make way for a park, and the money raised will go toward securing a new space for the international community center.
