Incheon Airport to host ACI conference in 2014

April 25, 2013 - 20:50 By Korea Herald
Incheon International Airport won the bid to host the 2014 Airports Council International Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference and Exhibition, company officials said Thursday.

The selection was made at this year’s conference held in Phuket, Thailand, from April 22-25.

Lee Young-keun, acting president of the airport, said the conference will be held from May 26-28 at COEX in southeastern Seoul, adding that he expected to welcome around 600 guests.

“Incheon Airport has been named the best airport for eight consecutive years, according to the Airport Service Quality Awards survey. This has been recognized as the main reason for it being selected as the next host,” Lee said.

“The airport will work on successfully promoting its brand as well as contributing to customers’ happiness by creating added value on the airport industry.”
