노르웨이 교육부는 수도 오슬로에서 열리는 저스틴 비버 콘서트를 위해 수도 인근의 5개 학교의 시험 일정을 조정했다.
저스틴 비버는 4월 16, 17일 양일간 오슬로 텔레노 아레나에서 콘서트를 연다.
교육당국은 학생들이 일정이 겹치는 경우 콘서트를 참석하기 위해 학교에 결석할 것을 우려해 이러한 결정을 내렸다.
시험일정을 재조정하기로 결정한 5개교의 한 교장은 현지 언론을 통해 “우리는 이길 수 없는 싸움이라는 것을 깨달았고, 조치를 취할 수 밖에 없었다”고 말했다.
한편, 저스틴 비버는 그 동안 콘서트 장에 늦는다거나, 비행기에 애완용 원숭이를 태운다거나 혹은 그의 사진사를 폭행하는 등 수많은 논란에 휩싸여 왔다. (이아란 인턴기자 / 코리아 헤럴드)

Norwegian schools reschedule exams for Bieber’s concert
Norway’s Ministry of Education and Research has rescheduled mid-term exams in five schools so that students can attend pop star Justin Bieber’s concert.
The teenage heartthrob will hold a concert at the Telenor Arena in the Norwegian capital on April 16 and 17.
The education official made this decision mindful that some students would even skip their midterm exams to see their 19-year-old pop idol.
A school principal said in an interview with NRK, a broadcast network, that “We considered that this was a battle that we could not win this time.”
Bieber’s popularity seems to hold up even though he has generated a series of controversies such as appearing late to a concert, taking his pet monkeys on his private jet and attacking photographers on a stint in London.
