Hermes Korea has selected three artists as finalists for the 2013 Hermes Foundation Art Award.
Na Hyun, Noh Sun-tag and Jung Eun-young were chosen from among 10 artists by a five-member judging committee, which consists of Korean and foreign art experts including Ute Meta Bauer, dean of Royal College of Art, and Guillaume Desanges, artistic director of La Verriere in Belgium.

The three artists are expected to come up with new work with support by Hermes Foundation, and exhibit their works at Atelier Hermes in Maison Hermes Dosan, Seoul.
The award, launched in 2000 in Korea to support Korean artists, will announce the winner of the award toward the end of the exhibition.
Na Hyun is an installation artist whose artistic practice lies in exploring Korean identity. Noh Sun-tag looks into the implications of everyday life in Korea on the country's political and social situation through his documentary photography. Jung Eun-young focuses on feminism through media art and “uses media art to recreate interesting stories she heard before and presents a reinterpretation of the stories rather than using media as a simple tool to document,” according to the judges.
