Changdeokgung moonlit tour tickets on sale March 12

Tickets for this year’s moonlight promenades at Changdeokgung Palace will go on sale starting March 12.

The 30,000 won-program organized by the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation, the Cultural Heritage Administration and sponsored by the Culture Ministry offers a two-hour guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site under the moonlight. During the tour, visitors will be able to enjoy traditional Korean performances, tea and snacks. It is one of the most popular tour programs in the country, with tickets for 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons selling out very quickly.

The programs this season will be held on March 26, 27, 28, 29; April 23, 24; May 24, 25, 26; Aug. 20, 21, 22; Sept. 19, 20, 21; and Oct. 18, 19, 20 for Koreans. English tours are available on April 25, 26; May 22, 23; Aug. 23, 24; Sept. 22, 23; and Oct. 16, 17.
