Salon du Chocolate, a chocolate lovers’ dream, is the world’s largest event completely dedicated to chocolate. It brings together chocolatiers, patissiers, ice cream makers, growers, producing countries and manufacturers of raw cocoa all under one roof. And for the first time, the event is being held in Seoul.
The event, which was established nearly 20 years ago, will see cocoa farmers, chocolate makers, various chocolate product producers and cocoa-loving consumers join together to celebrate chocolate.
The event will not only include seminars on chocolate, but also host exhibits on cacao, chocolate, ice cream, machinery and equipment, desserts, beverages and other confectionery-related products. From a chocolate fashion show and chocolate art displays, to chocolate quiz shows and traditional African music and dance performances, Salon du Chocolate is a one-stop shop for all things cocoa beans.
The event is intended to be fun for the whole family, and young children even have the opportunity to visit “Chocoland,” where visitors can enjoy creating choco-pie art and baking brownies.
Salon du Chocolate Seoul 2013 will be held at the COEX D1,2 Hall for four days from Jan. 17 to Jan. 20.
