After waiting for more than a year, Japanese fans will be able to see more of BoA, but first through a QR code.

BoA will release the Japanese version of “Only One” via QR code in February.

The original Korean version of “Only One,” the title song from her seventh EP, was released last summer in Korea.

As part of BoA’s Japanese single promotion, Only One Cocktail was launched in November last year, featuring a QR code that leads to an instrumental version of “Only One.”

Five coffee shops in Tokyo are selling cappuccino and cocktail drinks that are topped with the QR code, reported Oricon.

From next month, people can listen to BoA’s new single by scanning the QR code floating on the surface of their drinks that leads to a full  Japanese language version of “Only One” with their smartphones.

The QR code is edible.

BoA will hold concerts at the Olympic Park in Seoul on Jan. 26 and 27.

They will be the first exclusive concerts in Korea in 13 years for the singer who made her debut in 2000.
