Actress Sue-ae 200th member of honorable charity group

Actress Sue-ae was inducted into the Community Chest of Korea’s Honor Society as the 200th member for her charitable contributions. Sue-ae pledged to donate100 million won to the Community Chest to help the unfortunate in Korea.

“It means so much to me that I get to attend this event by the Community Chest of Korea,” she said. “Growing up, I did not have much.”

The Honor Society inductees are members who have played a leading role in spreading the spirit of generosity through donations.

Sue-ae has been regularly helping children in the Bongchun-dong area since she first began her acting career. The actress debuted in the KBS TV Drama “School 2” in 1999 and has since starred in a number of TV dramas and films including “Family,” “A Thousand Days’ Promise,” ”Sunny” and many others.

“Sharing is hope,” she said. “I hope to use wealth to help and give hope to others.”

The Community Chest of Korea is a charitable organization that was established with the vision and mission of promoting community development by philanthropic giving and creating positive changes in the community.
