The Korea Tourism Organization received the Galaxy Award for a travel guide book that introduces unique accommodations in Korea. The book titled “Korea’s Most Unique Accommodations” was recognized in the category of “Promotion ― Tourist/Travel Destination Campaign” for promoting interesting hotels in the country to both local and foreign travelers. The Galaxy Awards given by U.S.-based MerComm. Inc. offers awards for annual reports, magazines and media promotion kits.

The guide book introduces different styles of hotels falling into five themes: uniquely designed hotels, relaxing places, traditional, hotels with great views and luxury resorts.
