Actress Lee Young-ae announced plans to open a souvenir shop in Seoul dedicated to selling hallyu items, targeting tourists who are interested in Korean culture.

The shop is expected to open on Dec. 19 in Samcheong-dong, a popular tourist hotspot for boutique stores selling traditional Korean souvenirs. Some items to be sold in Lee’s store include traditional Korean teas and organic baby soaps and lotions.

The actress, who is also the mother of twins, is known for her roles in many TV drama series including “A Jewel in the Palace” and “Fireworks” and for her role in the film “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance,” which snagged her the Best Actress Award at the Baeksang Art Awards in 2006.

In honor of her many charitable donations, she was appointed as Goodwill Ambassador by UNICEF in 2004.
