Hollywood film icon Harrison Ford would consider reprising his role of Han Solo in a new “Star Wars” film if asked, sources told EW.com.

A new trilogy of “Star Wars” sequels was announced last week. The first film is expected to hit theaters in 2015.

“Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he‘s upbeat about it; all three of them are,” an insider told the entertainment industry news website, referring to original “Star Wars” veterans Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.

After appearing in the “Star Wars” hits in the 1970s and ’80s, Ford went on to headline the blockbusters “The Fugitive,” “Air Force One,” “Working Girl,” “Clear and Present Danger,” “Presumed Innocent” and “Blade Runner,” as well as four “Indiana Jones” movies.

EW.com said Ford, now 70, isn‘t expected to enter contract talks for another “Star Wars” movie until there is a script and director.

스타워즈 신작에 SF레전드 대거 컴백?


왕년의 헐리우드 액션스타 해리슨포드가 스타워즈 시리즈 신작에서 ‘한 솔로’ 역으로 다시 연기하는 것을 고려 중인 것으로 알려졌다.

지난 주 디즈니에 인수된 루카스필름은 스타워즈 시리즈의 새로운 3부작 후속편의 제작을 공식 발표했다. 이 가운데 첫 번째 편은 오는 2015년 개봉 예정이다.

헐리우드 관계자는 옛 스타워즈 주인공을 맡았던 베테랑 연기자들인 해리슨포드, 마크해밀, 캐리피셔가 모두 새로운 후속작 출연에 관심이 있다고 전했다.

지난 70년대와 80년대를 주름잡은 헐리우드 SF대작 스타워즈 시리즈에 출연한 이후 해리슨포드는 도망자, 에어포스원, 블레이드러너, 인디아나존스 등 블록버스터 액션 영화에 다수 출연했다.

올해 70세인 해리슨포드는 그러나 신작 스타워즈의 구체적인 대본과 제작진이 정해지기 전에는 계약하지 않을 것으로 알려졌다. (코리아헤럴드)
