Herald CEO elected senior board member for newspaper group

Lee Young-man, CEO of Herald Corporation, the parent company of The Korea Herald, was elected senior board member of the Korean Association of Newspapers on Thursday.

At the organization’s extraordinary general meeting held at Paradise Hotel in Busan, Lee was elected alongside Kim Song-kee, CEO and publisher of the Kukmin Ilbo, and Jung Choong-kyoun, publisher of the Kyungnam Shinmun.

Also at the meeting the members discussed media corporations’ diversification of business in the rapidly changing environment.
