At a show “Night of the Stars 2012” held at a hotel in Seoul, Kim unexpectedly appeared onstage with Psy and publicly said he felt sorry for causing the trouble.
“I apologize for making it hard for Jae-sang (Psy’s real name). I felt bad that I was getting in the way of my loving brother’s prosperous path,” said Kim, who is known for generous donations and overseas promotions on South Korean historical issues.
“You guys are lucky to be here because this is the place where the world’s best singer makes peace,” he said.
Then, he offered a small glass of soju to Psy and they drank together with their arms linked -- known in Korea as a “love shot.”
Psy also apologized for “causing many to worry about what happened for the last several days.”
Recently, rumors had sparked that the relationship between the two stars had soured due to Psy’s employment of Kim’s stage techniques and staff, after Kim uploaded a series of online comments.
