The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said Wednesday it is hosting a special workshop for developing volunteer and donation programs.

More than 100 education officials across the country are participating in the event scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province.

The two-day workshop titled “Donation School” is designed to provide the participants with skills and tools to develop more successful donation programs, according to the ministry.

At the workshop, the participants will learn communication and presentation skills from experts and will also learn how to encourage people to donate and participate in volunteer programs, the ministry said.

It is second time the ministry has organized a donation workshop for education officials. The first workshop was held in May.
