Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, located in Samseong-dong, hosted the Nuclear Safety Summit earlier this year.
For three consecutive years since 2010, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas has been awarded in Korea’s Best Brand Awards for top quality amenities and service. It has also scored the highest in Korea’s quality service measurement index KS-SQI for four years.
The hotel has also successfully hosted international events such as the ASEM Conference in 2000, G20 Seoul Summit in 2010 and Nuclear Security Summit in 2012.
The hotel conducts random online surveys of guests to evaluate service and maintain service quality. The results of the Meeting Satisfaction Tracking System and Restaurant Satisfaction Tracking System are shared with all hotel staff in order to maintain service quality.
The hotel also focuses on improving services in an environmentally friendly way.
It was the first hotel in Korea to be certified by Earth Check, the largest environmental management system used by the travel and tourism industry. It aims to achieve higher ranking from the system by 2015.
In addition, the hotel was also the first to be recognized by Korea’s Environment Ministry as an environmentally friendly hotel in 2011.
“The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas puts every effort to be considered a designer of service as well as a top-level hotel not only in Korea but around the world,” said general manager Darren Morrish.
Morrish also stressed, “In order to improve the hotel industry and its core value of service, it is essential that executives and department heads listen carefully to their junior employees who are customers’ first point of contact and who know their demands the most.”
The hotel boasts close proximity to major business centers and tourists’ favorite spots in Gangnam, an affluent part of southern Seoul. It is close to the World Trade Center, COEX Convention Center, COEX Mall, City Air Terminal and casino, all of which create memorable travel and business experiences.
