A fund-raising party to support North Korean defectors will be held in Seoul on July 7. The event at Cafe Gallery Golmok in Itaewon is to run from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The night of live hip-hop, R&B and reggae will feature a host of Seoul-based performers as well as a New York DJ.

The second annual birthday fund-raiser is being held by the Justice For North Korea volunteer group. Entry is free for the night aimed to garner more support for the group.

JFNK is currently seeking new volunteers to help with the North Korean Defectors’ Freedom Association’s English Tutoring Program, which meets on Saturday afternoons in Daecheong, Seoul.
