A peace-promoting basketball tournament is to be held in Gwangju on July 7. The event is being hosted by MANNAM Volunteer Association, the largest volunteer association in Korea.

The first MANNAM Peace Basketball Tournament is being held with the purpose of gathering people from all over the world through basketball to promote peace and understanding.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Gwangju’s Damyang Sports Complex. There, 12 foreign basketball teams in Korea will compete for prizes sponsored by MANNAM. Those wishing to participate must register and pay an 80,000 won entry fee per team by 6 p.m. on July 4. Applications can be submitted by email to mannamspo@gmail.com.
