Swiss seek science collaborator in Seoul

The Swiss Embassy is seeking to hire a Scientific Collaborator for Education, Research and Innovation.

The successful candidate will work as part of an international network to assist bilateral research cooperation and Switzerland’s international strategy for education, research and innovation in Korea.

Duties will include monitoring Korean education, science and innovation policy, as well as drafting corresponding reports. The role will also involve managing a network with relevant institutions and Swiss nationals active in these fields in Korea.

The new staff member will also share contacts, organize events and visits, and develop projects on behalf of Swiss institutions in the field.

An ideal candidate would have very good knowledge of English as well as Korean language skills and good knowledge of one national language of Switzerland.

Sound knowledge of Asia is required and experience of living abroad is an advantage. Understanding of the Swiss science and technology system and policy is also important.
