The ABU General assembly is the largest media event in the Asia-Pacific region and is expected to be attended by 220 broadcasters from 60 countries.
Various events will be held to promote cooperation and exchange among broadcasters in the region under the theme of “Beyond the Wave.”
Also to be held alongside the general assembly is the ABU Radio Song Festival, which will showcase new musical talent from nations within the Asia-Pacific region.
