A Korean charity is aiming to send a message of world peace via concerts in the Middle East. Korea’s Beautiful Mind Charity is holding concerts in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan from April 1-9.

Fifteen young Korean performers will perform with other musicians at the international peace concerts in the UAE.

Talented musicians from Korea, including the 15-member group Virtuoso, will take part in the 8th Emirates International Peace Music Festival, hosted by the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra at venues across the Middle Eastern nation. Samsung Gulf Electronics and The Korean Association of the UAE are the official sponsors.

Among the Korean performers are Kim Kyung-min, who suffers from cerebral palsy, and mentally disabled musician Bae Sung-yeon.

In the Jordanian capital of Amman, the Beautiful Mind Charity will also hold a concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Seoul and Amman. The concert sponsored by KOICA and Daewoo E&C and hosted by the Korean Embassy in Jordan aims to deliver a message of peace and love.
