Danish royalty is set to grace the opening of the Yeosu Expo at the start of an official visit to Korea.

The Danish Crown Prince Couple will begin its May 10-15 Korean visit at the expo, where Denmark is being represented with its own pavilion.

Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Mary will be accompanied by a business delegation that will seek to strengthen relations between Denmark and Korea during the trip.

Their visit will also include the second meeting of the Korean-Danish Green Growth Alliance. The alliance was launched during Korean President Lee Myung-bak’s state visit to Denmark last May.

As well as green growth, the couple will take part in cultural activities focused on Danish design and dance.
