Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul is the first hotel the Banyan Tree Group has built in the heart of the city. The group, which operates hotels and resorts in more than 20 countries around the world, built the hotel at the foot of Seoul’s Mount Namsan last year, envisioning an “urban resort.”

Home to a high-end social community of Korea, the mountain area presents a feeling of exclusiveness to those who visit the hotel.

Offering an incomparable and unforgettable view of Mount Namsan and the surrounding city, the hotel has a total of 34 rooms and suites, each equipped with its own relaxation pool.

With only up to four rooms on each level, guests are ensured privacy and the luxury of space, while enjoying the sweeping views of the four seasons of the mountain.

One of the best features of the hotel is probably the fact it can offer guests the feeling of being isolated, deep in a forest, while actually remaining at the center of the city.
The Oasis Slope

The hotel’s outdoor pool the Oasis, turns into the Oasis Slope during the winter time, offering guests the chance to slide down the 64-meter-long slope. Snowboarding lessons are also offered in the morning before the slope opens on 11 a.m. The entrance fee to the slope is 25,000 won for adults and 15,000 won for children. All necessary facilities can be used at the hotel for 5,000 won.

The hotel is also offering the Winter Wonderland Rooms Package this winter through Feb. 29. Included in the package, which starts at 513,600 won for a night at a deluxe room, is breakfast at the hotel’s dining lounge, and free use of the indoor swimming pool, the fitness center and the Oasis Slope.

The hotel is also widely-known among spa-lovers here for its world-class massage programs by massagers trained in Thailand, Indonesia and other major tourist destinations worldwide.

The members-only facility of The Club is tailored to enhance health and relaxation, offering indoor and outdoor exercise facilities and various fitness programs developed to bring the body to balance. The Club also houses the Club Member’s Restaurant & Lounge, the Kid’s Club and other popular places for socializing.

Befitting the first social club in Korea, Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul attracts opinion leaders in the fields of economy, education, culture and art.

In order to establish a club exclusively for VVIP, one must first be recommended by a current Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul member before submitting an application for membership. The candidate must then undergo review and be approved by the membership committee.

With the exception of The Hotel, The Festa and select facilities which are open to the public, The Club, The Oasis and outdoor sports facilities are exclusively for use by the members of Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul. The hotel also offers a variety of special discounts for members.
