Anseong winery offers grape escape

Sept. 6, 2011 - 19:04 By
Guided tour of Anseong Winery on Sept. 24.

The guided trip to Anseong travels via a historic catholic church built by a French monk, and features formal wine and food pairing at a lakeside restaurant.

The event also includes a historic winery visit, the chance to crush grapes underfoot to make wine and barrel rolling contests.

The tour costs 80,000 won but there are discounts for paying early, being a member and using your own transport.

There will also be a concert by the Kimchi Cowboy Band, headed by Steve Koons, a member of the wine group.

The event has been held for more than 10 years and was featured in Singapore Air’s inflight magazine in March.

The bus leaves City Hall Plaza at 9:30 a.m. and returns 6 p.m.
