SaKong Il
SaKong Il, head of the Korea International Trade Association, plans to discuss the Chinese economy at a forum in Beijing this weekend, the trade agency said Thursday.
About 60 economists and experts around the world will take part in the High-level China 2030 Conference on Saturday hosted by the World Bank and the Development Research Center of the State Council, a Chinese state-run think tank.
Participants including Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang and the World Bank president Robert Zoellick are expected to discuss tasks and strategies for the sustainable development of the world’s fastest-growing economy, KITA said.
SaKong’s attendance came after a request from Zoellick, the agency said, adding he will lead the discussions and assessments at the one-day event.
