“We need to set up long-term strategic planning. Continuing to push the activities and keeping patient are the key words to develop stronger but successful relations with Africa. Selective business and concentration is essential to achieve the goals of African business in public and private sectors,” Dr. Jung Hae-jung, the President of M.K. International Inc. has dared to mention.
Cultural delegations from Cote d’Ivoire were received by Ambassador Ekra Kouassi Florent of Cote d’Ivoire to Korea and Dr. Jung Hae-jung of M.K. International Inc. at Incheon International Airport.

M.K. has been in Africa for the past three decades performing industrial engineering, construction, development and manufacturing as well as international trade in 21 countries in Africa, mainly focusing on the countries of Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Angola and South Africa. M.K. is currently being implemented for approximately $320 million for the scope of businesses aforementioned with the highest recognition from the UN and World Bank.

“When Korea’s strength of advanced, efficient management skills and strong financial strength can match Africa’s abundant natural resources, ample manpower and giant markets, the economic synergy can be tremendous and the sky is limit,” Dr. Jung added.

We need more efforts for the fair and equal treatment of Africa to establish mutually beneficial relations. And more frequent exchange of visits by public and private sector leaders are essential to strengthen trade and investment opportunities which will provide a strong platform for the next generation, promising a bright future for Korea and Africa.
