Troupes from Daegu, Daejeon in Seoul

July 19, 2011 - 18:40 By Paul Kerry
The Daegu Theatre Troupe and Daejeon’s Dionysus Theater will perform in “It’s Not Easy Being Seen,” a show centered around the issue of colorblind casting.

The show will be the Daegu troupe’s first in Seoul and will be performed twice this Saturday, at 6-9 p.m. at White Box Theater near Hyochang Park Station.

Daegu Theater will perform “Lawing and Jawing” which originally appeared in the all-black review “Fast and Furious” in 1931. Keeping the “colorblind casting” theme, this version features actors from England, Puerto Rico, Canada and the United States.

Tickets are 15,000 won at the door. For more information about the performance, visit www.probationarytheatre.com.
