Busan Global Gathering is accepting applications to run a booth at this year’s event in October.

The event is a huge public gathering of cultural groups, embassies and foreign community groups.

Booths are free of charge and each measures 3 meters square, has two tables and a limited electricity supply. Applications are open until Aug. 14.

The Global Gathering will take place at Naru Park in Haeundae on Oct. 22. Organizers say last year’s event saw 63 groups run 101 booths and about 43,000 people attended.
