Airbus, the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer, said it would look to develop planes which all passengers can enjoy the view by 2050.
In the plane, people would no longer have to grab a window seat to get a glimpse of sky, but could enjoy the views through glass ceilings. There also will be no division of classes of seats, it said.
Charles Champion, executive vice president of Airbus, told reporters the dream aircraft will also feature international video calls and complete privacy via “holographic pods.”
By making use of holographic technologies, interactive zones will provide virtual sports games like golf, not to mention business meetings and other activities unimaginable in traditional airplanes.
The plane of tomorrow is also to be environmentally friendly and self-sufficient, using heat from passengers to maintain lighting system.

“Our research shows that passengers of 2050 will expect a seamless travel experience while also caring for the environment,” Champion told reports.
The company will officially announce the project at the Le Bourget International Airshow in Paris to be held on June 20-26.
